Cranberry Sauce II

Yields: 2 cups
Ingredients
- 1 (12 ounce) bag fresh cranberries
- 1 cup sugar (may replace with an equal amount of Splenda)
- 3⁄4 cup water
- 1 navel orange
- orange zest
- 1 teaspoon pure orange extract (optional)
Directions
- Add water and sugar together; bring to a boil while stirring occasionally.
- Add cranberries and stir as the start to pop.
- Once they have all popped, reduce flame to low and add juice from one navel orange, zest from one navel orange and the orange extract(optional).
- Stir ingredients through for a minute.
- Move cranberry sauce to a container and store in fridge til needed. I recommend this is made at least two days prior to serving.
