Cranberry Pudding with Hot Butter Sauce

  1. Cream butter,sugar and eggs.
  2. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk to creamed mixture.
  3. Add nuts and cranberries.
  4. Bake cake in moderate oven (about 350) in a 9x13 inch pan for about 30 minutes or until it springs back when touched.
  5. Serve small pieces with hot butter sauce.
  6. Hot Butter Sauce: Combine ingredients and bring to a boil over moderate heat,stirring constantly.
  7. Let bubble one minute.
  8. Add cream (not whipped).
  9. Reheat but do not boil.
  10. Add flavoring.
