Cranberry Pizza Appetizer

Serves: 8

Yields: 1 pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) can  refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1 (8 ounce) package  brie cheese, rind removed, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 34 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 12 cup pecans, chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fm then lightly grease a 12" pizza pan.
  2. Unroll dough & separate into triangles, placing them on prepared pizza pan with tips toward center.
  3. Press out dough with hands, connecting all the edges that are close together.
  4. Bake about 6 minutes or until light golden brown, then remove from oven.
  5. Sprinkle with cheese & spoon cranberry evenly over cheese, before sprinkling entire 'pizza' with pecans.
  6. Return to oven & bake until cheese is melted & crust is golden brown, about 8 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven & cool slightly, before cutting into wedges.
  8. Any leftovers should be refrigerated.
