Cranberry Cherry Sauce

This recipe was created at Thanksgiving at the request for my husband. Since he loved it, I wanted to share with the group. Show more

  1. Mix the water and sugar in a medium sauce pan.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add cranberries.
  4. Cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add cherries, Grand Marnier, and orange zest.
  6. Cook an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Pour into dish.
  8. Cool until it can safely be put in the refrigerator. This will thicken upon standing.
  9. Stir before serving.
