Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cups French style green beans, not frozen, but rinsed and drained
- 1⁄2 cup dried cranberries
- 1⁄4 cup pine nuts
- 1 dash ground red pepper
- 1 dash garlic powder
- 1 dash ground black pepper
- 1 dash oregano
Directions
- 1. Preheat olive oil in frying pan over low to medium heat.
- 2. Add green beans to sauté them. Stirring and flipping often to avoid browning.
- 3. Add cranberries when green beans are about 3 minutes from done. Stir often to avoid overheating on one side.
- 4. Add pine nuts when cranberries are beginning to turn pink. Stir and flip often.
- 5. Add spices when pine nuts turn light brown. Stir for half minute.
- 6. Remove from heat and serve.
