Cracklin Cornbread - Down Home Good

Serves: 8-12
Ingredients
- 2 cups self-rising cornmeal
- 1 1⁄4 cups buttermilk
- 1 beaten egg
- 2 ounces pork cracklings
Directions
- Generously grease pan or skillet to be used and pre-heat oven to 450 degrees.
- Measure cornmeal into bowl and gradually ad buttermilk.
- Add the egg and cracklins.
- Pour into hot pan and bake for 10-15 minute.
