Cowgirl Cosmopolitan

This drink is adapted from the "Reata Legendary Texas Cuisine" cookbook, served at the famous Reata restaurant in Fort Worth, TX. Real cowgirls on the ranch may not drink sissy cocktails. But in the big cities of Texas, there's a special type of gal who wears business suits by day and dresses like a rodeo queen on the weekends. When all gussied up for a night out in Cowtown, these ladies could stomp their boots all over those four from Sex and the City.

Ingredients

• 2  ounces orange-infused vodka
• 1⁄4 ounce  orange liqueur
• 3  ounces cranberry juice
•  squeeze fresh lime juice
•  lemon twist (to garnish)

Directions

1. Combine all the ingredients in a drink shaker and shake vigorously.
2. Strain into a martini glass, and garnish with the lemon twist.
