Cowboy Cornbread Squares

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking pan. Set aside.
  2. In large skillet cook ground beef until browned, drain fat. Set aside.
  3. In large bowl stir together cornbread mix, egg and milk.
  4. Stir in ground beef, corn, 1 1/2 cups cheese, and peppers.
  5. Spread into prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Top with remaining cheese.
  8. Bake about 15-20 minutes more or until cheese begins to brown.
