Country Seed Bread (Bread Machine)

I think this is another one of those recipes my mom clipped out of the Winnipeg Free Press. She doesn't have a bread machine, but she thought it sounded good, so the next time they came out to visit, she had me make a loaf for her! Since then, it's become a favourite around here -- especially at breakfast.

• Ready In: 3 hrs 5 mins
• Yields: 1 2-pound loaf

Ingredients

• 1 1⁄4 cups warm water
• 2  tablespoons honey
• 2  tablespoons  cooking oil
• 2  cups all-purpose flour
• 1  cup whole wheat flour
• 1⁄4 cup flax seed
• 2  tablespoons sesame seeds
• 1  tablespoon poppy seed
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
• 2  teaspoons instant yeast (bread machine)

Directions

1. Mix in usual bread machine manner and bake.
