Country Ham

Ingredients
- 1 (10 -12 lb) country ham
- 2 cups dark molasses
- 1 cup vinegar
- 20 whole cloves
- 2 lbs brown sugar
- 1 cup pickle juice
Directions
- Place ham in a large container.
- Cover with cold water.
- Add 1 cup molasses and vinegar.
- Let stand overnight.
- Remove ham from water.
- Rinse well and cover with fresh water.
- Add remaining molasses.
- Cover.
- Bring to a rolling boil over high heat.
- Boil for 30 min.
- Remove container from heat.
- Do not remove cover.
- Let stand overnight.
- Remove ham from water Remove rind and score.
- Stud with cloves.
- Combine brown sugar and pickle juice to make a paste, spread over ham.
- Bake at 300* for 60 min.
