Country Chicken

Ingredients
- 1⁄4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
- 1 (2 1/2lb) frying chickens, cut up
- 1⁄4 cup butter or 1⁄4 cup margarine, melted
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1 -2 clove garlic, smashed
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 2 cups water
- 1⁄4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1⁄4 cup raisins
- 2 tablespoons toasted slivered almonds
Directions
- Coat chicken in flour and salt.
- Saute in butter.
- remove and keep warm.
- Add next 3 ingredients, cook 3 minutes.
- Blend in next 5 ingredients, mix well.
- Add chicken, cover, simmer 30 minutes.
- Garnish with almonds.
