Ingredients
- 3 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 tablespoons honey
- 12 ounces beer
- butter
Directions
- In a bowl put the dry ingredients, add honey and pour in the beer, stirring only until flour is moistened.
- Pour inot a greased loaf pan and bake at 300 degrees for 35 minutes.
- As soon as removed from the oven, rub top and sides with butter.
