Corstorphine Loaf

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1⁄2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 cup cane syrup or 1⁄2 cup golden syrup
- 1 cup golden raisins or 1 cup sultana
Directions
- Mix dry ingredients and moisten with syrup and milk.
- Place in prepared loaf tin, and stand for 15 minutes.
- Bake for 1 hour at 350 F.
