Cornbread

My family likes this a lot and is like Jiffy cornbread

• Ready In: 30 mins
• Serves: 4
• Yields: 1 8x8 pan

Ingredients

• 1  cup milk
• 1⁄4 cup butter, melted
• 1  egg
• 1 1⁄4 cups cornmeal
• 1  cup flour
• 1⁄2 cup sugar
• 1  tablespoon baking powder
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt

Directions

1. Grease bottom of an 8x8 pan.
2. Preheat oven to 350.
3. Whisk together wet ingredients. Stir in dry ingredients until moistened--batter will be lumpy. Bake 20-25 min or until a toothpick come out clean.
