Ingredients
- 3⁄4 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1⁄3 cup Splenda sugar substitute
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 2 tablespoons shortening, melted
Directions
- Sift together the cornmeal, flour, Splenda, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix in the milk, egg, and melted shortening.
- Pour mixture into a buttered 8 inch square pan.
- Bake 20 minutes at 425 degrees.
