Corn Waffles

  1. Combine cornmeal, flour, baking soda, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
  2. Stir well and set aside.
  3. Combine buttermilk, oil, and egg and stir well.
  4. Add to dry ingredients, stirring until blended.
  5. Bake in preheated oiled waffle iron.
