Corn and Potato Dinner (For Babies)

This recipe is for babies 7 months and up. I used thyme and my daughter liked it. You can use whatever spice you'd like depending on your babies taste. Show more

Serves: 4-6

Ingredients

  • 1  tablespoon olive oil
  • 12 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1  small carrot, finely chopped
  • 12 cup water
  • 1  small potato, peeled and chopped
  • 3  tablespoons corn
  • 1  teaspoon herbs (basil, oregano, or thyme)

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a small skillet, over medium heat.
  2. Fry onion and carrot until soft, about 5 minutes.
  3. Put 1/2 of the carrot/onion mixture into a bowl and set aside.
  4. Add water potato, and corn to the pan.
  5. Stir to mix.
  6. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
  7. Add herbs.
  8. Puree.
  9. Add reserved mixture to puree, mix well.
  10. Add water if needed.
  11. Serve.
  12. Freeze leftovers in ice cube trays.
