Cooking Light's Caramel Pears

Yields: 2 pears
Ingredients
- 1⁄3 cup orange juice
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1⁄8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 dash ground cloves
- 2 peeled pears, cored and cut into 1-inch wedges (Bosc)
- 2 tablespoons white rum
Directions
- Combine the first 4 ingredients in a med saucepan, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer for 5 minutes Add pears, cook until tender (abt 10 mins). Pour rum into sauce pan, cook 1 minute Divide pears and sauce between two dishes.
