Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1⁄2 cups brown sugar
- 4 eggs, well beaten
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 2 cups raisins or 2 cups sultanas, chopped
- 3 1⁄4 cups flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375F and grease cookie sheets.
- Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.
- Add eggs and beat well.
- Add walnuts and raisins.
- Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Drop from teaspoon onto prepared cookie sheets and bake for about 12 minutes or until golden brown.
