Sweet & Tangy Coleslaw Dressing

This is a different coleslaw dressing. My mother always made this type of dressing when I was a kid. It's great for those times when you need a non-mayo type dressing.

• Yields: 3/4 cup

Ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup sugar
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 3  tablespoons vinegar (apple cider or white)
• 1⁄2 tablespoon celery seed
• 1⁄2 teaspoon dry mustard
• 1⁄4 tablespoon  dried onion
• 1⁄2 cup  salad oil

Directions

1. Combine in a pint size jar with a lid.
2. Cover and shake well.
