Coffee Rubbed Veal Burger

Ingredients
- 4 boneless veal steaks, thin
- 4 slices bacon
- 2 tomatoes, peeled and sliced
- 4 slices cheese
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 burger rolls
- 1 tablespoon freshly ground coffee
- 2 teaspoons golden brown sugar, packed
- 2 teaspoons fresh ground black pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1⁄2 teaspoon fine sea salt
Directions
- Place the coffee, sugar, black pepper, coriander, oregano and salt together in a bowl and mix until well combined. (This mixture will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for a couple of weeks).
- Rub each slice of veal liberally with coffee rub on both sides. Allow to marinate for at least half an hour.
- Heat a char grill plate and toast the rolls until nice and crispy then grill the bacon and marinated veal for 4-6minutes, then place the bacon on top of the veal and top with a cheese slice.
- Layer the burger roll with lettuce, tomatoes and cooked veal and serve.
