Coffee Punch

Looking for something a bit different for your next gathering? This is a real crowd pleaser! Smooth and tasty! A sprinkling of cinnamon or nutmeg on top is nice. Cook time is for chilling.

• Yields: 1 1/4 gallons

Ingredients

• 2  quarts  strong brewed coffee, cooled
• 2  cups milk
• 1⁄2 cup sugar
• 1  tablespoon vanilla
• 1⁄2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
•  whipped cream

Directions

1. Combine coffee, milk, sugar and vanilla, stir well.
2. Place in refrigerator and chill thoroughly.
3. Place ice-cream in large bowl.
4. Pour coffee mixture over ice-cream; stir gently.
5. Top with dollops of whipped cream.
