Coffee Liqueur (Fake Kahlua)

• Yields: 7 Cups

Ingredients

• 3  cups vodka
• 2  cups water
• 2  cups sugar
• 2  cups brown sugar, packed
• 2⁄3 cup dry instant coffee
• 1  teaspoon vanilla
• 1  vanilla bean

Directions

1. Mix all ingredients in a 2-quart jar.
2. Cover tightly and let stand at room temperature for two weeks.
3. Remove vanilla bean.
4. Pour into bottles and seal.
5. Makes about 7 1/2 cups.
