Coffee Butter

This recipe is courtesy of a booklet called "Coffee Makes It Delicious", from General Foods. This spread is good on pancakes, muffins, waffles, etc.

• Yields: 2/3 cup

Ingredients

• 2  teaspoons instant coffee
• 1⁄2 teaspoon water
• 1⁄2 cup butter
• 2  tablespoons  pancake syrup

Directions

1. Dissolve the instant coffee in the water.
2. Cream the butter until soft and fluffy.
3. Mix syrup and coffee mixture and slowly add to butter, blending thoroughly.
