Coffee and Chocolate Flip

Ingredients
- 1 egg, very fresh
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons cognac
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons Kahlua
- 1 teaspoon dark roast instant coffee granules
- 4 1⁄2 tablespoons heavy cream
- cocoa powder (to garnish)
Directions
- Separate the egg and beat the white until frothy and in another small bowl beat the egg yolk with the sugar.
- In a small pan combine the brandy, Kahlúa, coffee and cream. Warm over a very low heat then allow the mixture to cool. When cool whisk this mixture into the egg yolk. Add the egg white and pour the mixture back and forth between two glasses until it is smooth.
- Pour into a tall glass over coarsely crushed ice and sprinkle the top with cocoa powder.
