Cocoa Balls (Kakaove Dulkove Kolacky)

Yields: 1 batch of cookies

Ingredients

  • 1  cup flour
  • 2  tablespoons  cocoa
  • 5  tablespoons sugar
  • 5  tablespoons  lard
  • 1  teaspoon vanilla
  • 13 cup  jam

Directions

  1. Mix together all ingredients except jam into a smooth dough.
  2. Form into 1 1/2-inch balls.
  3. With the handle of a wooden spoon make an indentation in the center of each.
  4. Bake in a preheated 275 degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
  5. Fill centers with jam.
