Cluck on a Puck

Like the infamous "stuff" on a shingle, this use of Thanksgiving Turkey leftovers will become a favorite. Show more

Serves: 2

Yields: 2 sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 8  ounces  leftover roast turkey, cut into bite sized pieces (shredded is OK)
  • 12 cup  leftover  turkey gravy
  •  salt
  •  pepper
  • 4  slices  bread or 4  slices  dinner rolls
  • 2  tablespoons butter
  • Optional

  •  leftover stuffing and cranberry sauce

Directions

  1. Put leftover gravy into a small saucepan. Add turkey. Add stuffing and cranberry sauce if desired. Heat over medium until just starting to bubble.
  2. While turkey mixture is heating, toast bread or split rolls. Butter.
  3. Lay bread on plates and cover with generous dollop of turkey mixture. Eat while hot.
