Classic White Blondies

Found this recipe on the back of a Ghiradelli white chocolate baking bar (among others), but haven't tried it yet....... Show more

  1. Melt white chocolate and butter in double boiler over hot water.
  2. Stir mixture occasionally until smooth.
  3. Beat eggs until foamy; then add sugar, vanilla and white chocolate mixture (slowly).
  4. Fold in flour, salt, and chocolate chips (if using) until well combined.
  5. Spoon mixture into a 9" square baking pan with the bottom lined and buttered with parchment paper.
  6. Bake 25 minutes at 350°.
