Classic Chicken Puffs

This is a quick and easy recipe--great for parties and for using up leftover chicken. Prep time includes the thawing out of the shells. Show more

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 7/8ounce) box  uncle ben's  long grain and wild rice blend
  • 2  cups  cubed  cooked chicken
  • 5 38 ounces  cream of mushroom soup
  • 13 cup  chopped green onion
  • 13 cup diced pimento
  • 13 cup  diced celery
  • 13 cup  chopped fresh parsley
  • 13 cup  slivered almonds
  • 14 cup milk
  • 1 (10 ounce) box  of frozen prepared puff pastry shells, thawed

Directions

  1. Prepare the rice according to the box directions.
  2. When rice is done, add the remaining ingredients (except the pastry shells). mix well and reheat for 1 minute.
  3. Fill the pastry shells with the rice mixture.
