Classic Banana Cookies

Here's a delicious cookie made with bananas. Came from my mechanic, if you can believe that.

Ingredients

• 2 1⁄4 cups all-purpose flour
• 2  teaspoons baking powder
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1  cup sugar
• 2⁄3 cup butter or 2⁄3 cup margarine, softened
• 2  eggs
• 2  bananas, mashed
• 1  teaspoon vanilla

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a large bowl. Mix well.
3. Add butter or margarine. Mix well.
4. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well.
5. Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet.
6. Bake in preheated oven 12 minutes.
