Cinnamon Vanilla Granola Peach Crisp

Super delicious and the granola, vanilla and instant oatmeal add a unique flavor. Delicious over a bowl of vanilla ice cream. Super yummy! Show more

Ingredients

  • 6  cups  canned peaches, sliced (fresh or frozen can be subsituted)
  • 14 cup flour
  • 12 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 12 teaspoon  vanilla powder (extract can be substituted)
  • 1  cup granola cereal (I like Nature's Path Flax and Pumpkin)
  • 14 cup  instant oatmeal (2 packets Quaker Simple Harvest Vanilla Almond & Honey)
  • 12 cup brown sugar
  • 14 cup all-purpose flour
  • 14 cup  sliced almonds
  • 1  teaspoon cinnamon
  • 12 teaspoon  vanilla powder
  • 12 cup butter (little bit soft)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Mix 1/4 cup flour, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 vanilla powder together. Brown sugar can be added to sweeten fruit if needed.
  3. Place drained fruit in a casserole or square pan. Stir in flour mixture, set aside.
  4. In medium bowl combine granola, instant oatmeal, brown sugar, flour, almonds, cinnamon and vanilla powder until mixed. The small crumbs at the bottom of the granola bag work well for this.
  5. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  6. Top peaches with crumb mixture.
  7. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes until bubbly and top golden brown.
