Cinnamon Oatcake Cookies

Found in a Better Homes and Gardens issue from 2004; untried by me as yet.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Line 2 oven trays with baking paper.
  3. Place flour, sugar, bran flakes, rolled oats, baking powder and cinnamon in food processor.
  4. Process until well combined.
  5. Add butter, process to a fine crumb.
  6. Add milk and process until a ball forms.
  7. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured board; knead gently until smooth.
  8. Divide in half and roll each ball into a 23 cm round.
  9. Using a 6.5 cm cutter, cut out rounds.
  10. Place biscuits on trays, bake 12 to 15 minutes.
  11. Cool on rack.
