Cilantro Pesto

Yields: 1/2 cup
Ingredients
- 1 bunch cilantro, stems trimmed
- 1⁄4 cup pine nuts, toasted
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 cup olive oil
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
Directions
- place all ingredients EXCEPT OIL in food processor or blender.
- turn the machine on and add the oil slowly until it looks smooth-ish. process a little longer, scraping down sides until everything is combined.
- store in an air tight container, covered with a layer of olive oil to prevent browning.
- add a few tablespoons to your favorite pasta, or use as pizza sauce.
