Cilantro/Garlic Ranch Dressing

I got this recipe from my sister in law, I am not sure where she got the recipe. It is my new favorite recipe for dressing. It is especially good on a mexican taco salad type dish-my favorite includes shredded pork, black beans, tomatoes, lettuce and this dressing. Mmmmm... Serving size is a guess, since some people like to put a few tablespoons on their salad and some people like to put half a cup on. :) Should produce about 2 cups of dressing-I think.

• Serves: 4-6

Ingredients

• 1 (1/2ounce) package  ranch dressing mix (or whatever the reg. size is)
• 1⁄3 cup buttermilk
• 1  cup mayonnaise (or 1/2 cup mayo, 1/2 cup sour cream)
• 1  cup fresh cilantro
• 2  garlic cloves
• 1⁄8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions

1. Put all the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. It is good right away, but it is excellent the longer it sits in the fridge to mingle flavors.
