Ingredients
cookie dough
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ginger
- 1⁄4 teaspoon white pepper (optional)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 cup margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon milk
Directions
- Sift together dry ingredients in a small bowl. In a large bowl, cream margarine and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg. Stir in flour mix and milk. Blend thoroughly. Chill 1 hour. On lightly floured board, roll out dough to 1/4 thickness. Bake until lightly browned at edges. Decorate with frosting.
