Chopstick Turkey Casserole

Serves: 5-6

Ingredients

  • 1 12 cups  diced cooked turkey or 1 12 cups  diced cooked chicken
  • 1 (10 ounce) can mandarin oranges
  • 1 (10 ounce) can  condensed mushroom soup
  • 1  cup  chopped celery
  • 14 cup  chopped onion
  • 12 cup  chopped  salted nuts
  • 2  ounces  chow mein noodles (the ones in the can)

Directions

  1. Cut turkey in bite size chunks.
  2. Drain mandarin oranges reserving 1/2 cup of the syrup.
  3. Beat mushroom soup until smooth and blend in 1/4 cup of mandarin orange syrup Add turkey, mandarin oranges, celery, onion, nuts and half of the noodles.
  4. Turn into buttered baking dish.
  5. Top with remaining noodles.
  6. Bake in moderately hot oven, 350-375 for about 30 minutes or until bubbling.
