Passed down from my grandma and possibly longer this is a family favorite and the only chop suey some members will eat. Show more

Directions

  1. Brown onions, add meat. Simmer on low for 2 hours. Add a LITTLE water if needed.
  2. Add chopped celery.
  3. Add water to cover meat.
  4. Add soy sauce and bead molassas.
  5. simmer until celery is done.
  6. Serve over hot cooked rice.
  7. Optional: add large can of chop suey vegetables.
