Chocolate Zucchini Cake

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1⁄2 cup oil
- 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1⁄2 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1⁄4 cup cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups zucchini or 2 cups summer squash, shredded
- 1⁄2 cup chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Grease a 9 by 13 dish.
- Using electric mixer, cream butter, oil, and sugar.
- Add eggs, milk, and vanilla, and mix well.
- Add flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon, and mix well.
- Stir in zucchini and chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into dish.
- Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean, about 35-40 minutes.
