Chocolate Walnut Squares

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add flour and salt; mix well. Fold in walnuts.
  2. Spread half of the batter into a greased 13x9 in pan.
  3. Add chocolate to the remaining batter; mix well.
  4. Carefully spread over the batter in the pan.
  5. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. Cool completely.
  6. Frosting:Mix flour and milk in saucepan. Cook and stir on medium heat until a thick paste forms, about 10 minutes. Cool Completely.
  7. In a mixing bowl cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and mix well.
  8. Gradually add the milk mixture; beat for 5 minutes.
  9. Frost cake. Store in the refrigerator.
