Chocolate Swirls

Yields: 12-24 cookies
Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1⁄2 cup butter, softened
- 3 ounces cream cheese, softened (1 Package)
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted and slightly cooled
Directions
- Combine sugars, butter, cream cheese, egg and vanilla until fluffy.
- Add flour, baking powder and salt and beat until a soft dough forms.
- Fold in melted chocolate chips. The dough will marble and you want it this way. Be careful not to mix too long.
- Drop dough by heaping teaspoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 mins at 350, or until edges are light golden brown. Let cool.
