Chocolate Sheet Cake

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup water
- 1⁄2 cup butter or 1⁄2 cup margarine
- 1⁄2 cup oil
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 1⁄2 cup buttermilk (or milk)
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 6 tablespoons milk
- 16 ounces powdered sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup nuts, chopped (optional)
Directions
- Cake.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking soda and cinnamon: set aside.
- In a medium saucepan mix water, butter, oil and cocoa.
- Heat and bring mixture to a boil.
- Pour boiling mixture over dry mixture and mix well.
- Mix together milk, eggs and vanilla.
- Add milk mixture to first mixture.
- Pour batter into 13x9x2 baking sheet.
- Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
- Frosting.
- Add butter, cocoa and milk into medium saucepan.
- Heat and cook just until mixture begins to boil.
- With a mixer, add powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Fold in nuts (optional).
- Spread over warm cake.
