Chocolate Shadows

Directions

  1. Melt chocolate chips on low heat, set aside.
  2. In large bowl combine sugars, shortening, peanut butter and egg mixing well.
  3. Add dry ingredients, mixing well.
  4. Add melted chocolate, stirring just enough to give a"marble" effect.
  5. Shape into 1 inch balls and dip tops in sugar, place on un greased cookie sheet.
  6. Flatten with bottom of glass.
  7. Bake at 375* for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet.
