Chocolate Sauce

From the 1961 "Lutheran Favorites" of St. James Lutheran Church, Howard Lake, Minnesota. Submitted by Mrs. Al. Westphal. Out of all the chocolate sauce recipes in the book, this one is by far the easiest. This is very good on ice cream.

Ingredients

• 1  cup water
• 1⁄2 cup  cocoa
• 1  pinch salt
• 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
• 2  tablespoons vanilla

1. Boil 5 minutes.
