- In the top of a double boiler, stir together flour, sugar and cocoa.
- Gradually whisk in milk.
- Cook until hot.
- Beat egg and tempure it by adding a cup of the hot milk mixture into it.
- Add egg mixture into the pudding.
- Cook until thick.
- Add in vanilla and butter.
- This is good served either warm or cold.
