Chocolate Oatmeal No Bake Cookies

This is a recipe that I got from my mother in law. It is very basic, but a staple of most family get-togethers.

• Ready In: 15 mins
• Yields: 12 cookies

Ingredients

• 2  cups sugar
• 1⁄2 cup milk
• 1⁄2 cup butter
• 3  tablespoons cocoa powder
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt

• Then

• 1⁄2 cup peanut butter
• 1  teaspoon vanilla
• 3  cups quick oats

Directions

1. Combine the first 5 ingredients, in a large saucepan.
2. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil.
3. After 1 1/2 minutes, remove from heat and stir in the remaining 3 ingredients.
4. Spoon mixture onto wax paper and allow to cool.
