Chocolate Oatmeal Cake

Another gem sent to me from my Grandmother.

Directions

  1. Mix oats, water, margarine, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla together well.
  2. Fold in flour, baking soda, cocoa, and baking powder.
  3. Bake in 8x8 pan at 350F for 35 minutes.
  4. Icing: beat butter, milk, and vanilla together, then add icing sugar and cocoa, beat until creamy.
  5. Ice cake after it has cooled!
