Chocolate Marshmallow Meltaway Cookies

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup Butter Flavor Crisco
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 1 3⁄4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄2 cup cocoa powder
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 18 large marshmallows
FROSTING
- 3 tablespoons butter, softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 4 -6 tablespoons milk
Directions
- in bowl, cream crisco and sugar, beat in egg, milk and vanilla.combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt -- gradually add to the creamed mixture --
- drop by tblsful 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet
- bake at 350* for 8 minutes.
- press half of large marshmallow , cut side down on each cookie --
- bake 2 minutes longer --
- remove to racks to cool completely --
- to prepare FROSTING:.
- in small bowl, combine frosting ingredients add enough milk for spreading consistency --
- frost cooled cookies.
