Chocolate Mallow Mash

Kids won't mind a rainy day if they get to make these no-bake treats from Cottage Life Magazine

Yields: 48 squares

Ingredients

  • 3  cups  semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2  tablespoons butter
  • 4  cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 14 cups  candy covered plain chocolate candies (M & M's , smarties etc)
  • 1 14 cups  pretzels, broken into 1/2 inch pieces

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, melt chocolate and butter, stirring until smooth.
  2. Cool until slightly warm.
  3. In a large bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
  4. Pour chocolate on top& mix well.
  5. Pour into a 13" x 9" pan lined with greased aluminum foil.
  6. Chill until firm, about 1 hour.
  7. Remove from pan and cut into squares.
  8. Store at room temperature for easy cutting.
  9. Makes approx.
  10. 4 dozen squares.
