Chocolate Lover's Cheesecake

A simple cheesecake desert. You can substitute 3/4 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips if you don't have the baking squares. Show more

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 ounce) packages light cream cheese, softened
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 12 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2  eggs
  • 4  ounces  semi-sweet chocolate baking squares (4 squares)
  • 1 (6 ounce)  chocolate wafer pie crust

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Melt chocolate in microwave, on 50% power, stirring at 30 second intervals, for about 4 minutes or until melted; set aside to cool.
  3. Mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with an electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
  4. Add eggs; mix until blended.
  5. Stir in melted chocolate.
  6. Pour into pie crust.
  7. Bake 40 minutes or until center is almost set.
  8. Cool, then refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.
