Chocolate Krinkles

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup Crisco
- 1 2⁄3 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate squares
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄3 cup milk
- 1⁄2 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Directions
- preheat oven to 350.
- cream together crisco, sugar, and vanilla.
- sift flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- alternately add dry ingredients and milk to creamed mixture.
- fold in nuts.
- chill for 3 hours in refrigerator.
- roll into 1 inch balls and roll in powdered sugar.
- place balls on greased cookie sheet 2 to 3 inched apart, do not flatten.
- Bake 10 - 15 minutes.
